Dev Nagri designs handcrafted mandirs using traditional materials and authentic temple craftsmanship, bridging cultural heritage with contemporary design. Grounded in purity and ritual understanding, we create spiritually resonant, bespoke mandirs that honour generational needs while seamlessly elevating modern interiors—making each space feel both personal and profoundly sacred.
Crafted in Gwalior Mint sandstone, this mandir serves as the home’s calmest anchor for three generations. Silver lotus petals, silver-accented pillars, Gaumukh bells, and subtle quartz detailing create a refined, heritage-rich vedi with quiet luxury. The interplay of Gwalior Mint, Jaipur Green, and silver accents adds layered depth, transforming the space into more than a mandir—into a meditative, calming room where design, imagination, and devotion come together.
Crafted in pink Dholpur sandstone with Udaipur silver detailing, this mandir brings an unusual yet serene palette into a private residence. Inspired by traditional South Indian doorways and their age-old carvings, it features floating silver lotuses that balance the vertical scale, and tailor-made silver-and-stone bases that elevate each deity. A rare use of pink stone at home—refined, devotional, and distinctive.
A play of layers—arch inside arch, depth within height—reshapes this 20-foot mandir into a balanced, sculptural installation. Crafted in White Makrana, the double-height vedi and intricate detailing in quartz, silver, and gemstones enhance its quiet grandeur, while concealed drawers—each crowned with an elephant head between paired pillars—echo royal craftsmanship. Inspired by the architecture of Indian palaces, the brief demanded a regal, palatial presence in an urban apartment.
Part of the Gwalior Mint sandstone mandir room, this bespoke gaumukh installation was designed to highlight the client’s reverence for cows. A triple-layered composition of Jodhpur Green marble and quartz forms the base, crowned with custom-crafted brass cow heads framed by detailed brass borders. Positioned as a subtle divider, the bench gently transitions the space—separating design from devotion—while preserving the mandir’s meditative calm.
When luxury and serenity are brought together, this antique silver vedi takes form. Handcrafted in Udaipur, it draws from traditional temple aesthetics while adding a subtle layer of glamour and old-world charm. Designed to sit effortlessly within both traditional temples and contemporary mandirs, this vedi was created for a Srinathji devotee in the USA—envisioned as a timeless heirloom to be passed down through generations, carrying faith, memory, and cultural legacy.
Pooja Saraiya founded Dev Nagri to change the way mandirs are viewed in interior design. Rooted in her childhood of daily puja and celebration of festivals, Dev Nagri was born to give the home mandir the intention it deserves.
When she began building her own home, she realised that designing a mandir was about faith, family, emotion, and the traditions. That realisation planted the first seed of Dev Nagri.
