Pooja Saraiya founded Dev Nagri to change the way mandirs are viewed in interior design. Rooted in her childhood of daily puja and celebration of festivals, Dev Nagri was born to give the home mandir the intention it deserves.
When she began building her own home, she realised that designing a mandir was about faith, family, emotion, and the traditions. That realisation planted the first seed of Dev Nagri.
Dev Nagri’s work is also deeply collaborative, bringing together artisans from across India — brass craftsmen from Jharkhand, pichwai painters from Udaipur, stone carvers from Jaipur and silver artisans from Kolkata. Their work allows centuries-old craft traditions to continue living within contemporary homes.
Through this approach, Dev Nagri repositions the home mandir as a carefully designed architectural environment that brings ritual, craftsmanship, and modern domestic life into quiet alignment.
